Funeral service for Anita Patterson, 81, of Lawton, OK will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bob Quinnett officiating.

Mrs. Patterson passed away on Sunday, August 10th, 2025 in her home.

Burial will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Mrs. Patterson was born on August 28th, 1943 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany to the late Anton Sikorski and Christina Kroning. Anita grew up and spent her early twenties in Germany. After graduating High School, Anita got a job as a waitress, and met her husband Oscar. They were married on March 29th,1966 and to that union four children were born. Due to Oscar's military career, they moved back to the states shortly after, where she had to learn english, for her citizenship. Anita and her family traveled pretty frequently, and finally settling in Lawton. Anita started work on post, at the German Deli, and retiring after 12 years. After retiring, Anita stayed home caring for her husband and family. Outside of caring for her family, she enjoyed shopping and classic TV shows.

She is survived by two sons, Peter and Nia Patterson, and Michael and Robyn Patterson; two daughters, Barbara Landers, and Carmin Garcia; a sister, Christel Kratchmer; grandchildren, Kyle Cobb, Michael A. Patterson, Andreas Patterson, Kenny Landers, Nikole Patterson, Ashley Patterson, and Taylor Patterson; five great grandchildren; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Oscar Patterson; a brother, Gert Sikorski; and a grandson, Blake Landers.
