Joyce Roan

Joyce Roan, age 88 of Smyrna, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025. A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, December 29, 2025 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. A longtime resident of Smyrna, Joyce was employed by American Mutual Hardware Insurance Company. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, going to casinos with her husband, Hill. They were members of the Silver Sneakers group at Golds Gym, and would go to lunch with all their gym buddies, known as the "Lunch Bunch". Mrs. Roan was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Hill Roan, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Alvarado (David).
