Joyce Poulston Robertson

Joyce Poulston Robertson, 74 of Greenbay, Virginia passed away on October 13, 2025

surrounded by family and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her father Samuel Poulston,

mother Rachel Poulston, three brothers, Charles, Sammy and Tony Poulston. One sister Ruby

McAllister. She is survived by. Two sisters Shirley Jamerson and Debbie Poulston her cherished

friend of 35 years Don Lewis, three children Tammy Darling (Dennis), Lynn Dickhoff (George)

and Donna Callaway. Five grandchildren Jimmy Coldiron, Heather Hastings, Ashley Griffin,

Brittnie Callaway and Tony Dickhoff. Nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank

everyone for their kind phone calls, text, visits and prayers. The family would also like to thank

Amedisys Hospice for their care. A special thank you to her granddaughter Brittnie for her

around the clock care when others couldn’t be there. Family will receive visitors on Thursday,

October 16 th 2025 from 6pm-8pm at Shorter Funeral Home in Farmville, Virginia. With graveside

services Friday, October 17 th 2025 at 12:00pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice, Virginia. In

lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude’s for children in her name.
