Tina Marie Fox, 60, of Darlington Heights, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on February 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on March 27, 1965, in Manassas, Virginia, to Barbara A. Foust and Thomas A. Wortman, she graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in 1983. Tina had a deep love of nature and adventure, finding her greatest happiness in the mountains and the outdoors. Her favorite place to visit was Rapidan Camp, where she served as a dedicated board member and registrar until her passing. She also enjoyed volunteering in the women’s auxiliary at the local firehouse as a “Firecracker,” always ready to support her community. She worked many jobs throughout her life but most recently retired from a hot tub repair business, Fox Services LLC, started and ran together with her husband. Tina was united in marriage to Charles Edgar Fox Jr. on September 23, 1995, a marriage built on steadfast love and deep commitment.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Edgar Fox Jr.; her children Heather (Christian) Slager, Charles Fox, Justin (Sarah) Fox, Jennifer (Robert) Rowe; her cherished ten grandchildren; Dahlia, Teague, Luke, Avery, Savannah, Kaylee, Brayden, Aubrie, Bradley and Elijah. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Jenny Riggs. Tina was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Heidi Fox, and her cherished daughter, Angel Pedowitz. She is also preceded in death by her loving mother, Barbara A. Foust, and father, Thomas A. Wortman.
