Mrs. Elizabeth Joyce (Arms) Scott of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green Kentucky, having attained the age of 83 years, 5 months and 12 days. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, February 14, 1942, the daughter of Tessie & Vennie (England) Arms. She was a loving homemaker, and found joy in sewing, spending time with grandkids, and working in her home and garden. In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R Scott Sr., whom she wed on June 24, 1958, son, Johnny Scott, grandsons, Thomas Ray Scott, Edward Scott, great granddaughter, Katelyn Elizabeth Spears, siblings, Thomas Ray Arms, Williams Jr. Arms, William "Billy" Franklin Arms, Larry Arms, Evans Jr. Arms, George Edward Arms, and Doris Jean Cowles, and step-grandson, James Evans Arms.

She is survived by her children, Robert Ray (& Wanda) Scott of Eighty Eight, Kentucky, Thomas Allen Scott, Vennie (& Roger) Owens, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, David (& Shelia) Scott of Parks City, Kentucky, siblings, Keith (& Sherry) Arms, Danny (& Shannon) Arms, Gary Arms, James Arms, all of Barron County, Kentucky, 19 Grandchildren, 58 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro Michael Miller, and Roger Poynter officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 27, 2025, beginning at 2:00 P.M. C.S.T., until the funeral hour on Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
