She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Ross of Orlando, Fl., her son, Randy Shaffner of St. Petersburg, Fl., her daughter, Brenda Gehring of Blairsville, GA. She also has 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Shaffner and daughter, Tina Shaffner.
Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church of Edgewater, Florida. Joyce will be remembered by her love for God and desire to share her love for Jesus Christ and the gospel. She would always say how important a personal relationship with Jesus Christ got her through and would bring her peace. Every day she would say prayers for her family to know the Lord as their personal savior in addition to their needs.

Wife and I had pleasure of knowing and befriending Joyce when we firstmet her in 2000. Always positive and smiling know matter the surrounding. To this day was always a blessing in our life
