Joyce Carolyn Beall-Sheplee, age 93, peacefully reunited with her husband and soulmate of 72 years in heaven on March 13th. Born in Dawson, MN on January 8th, 1932, Joyce and her family later moved to Minneapolis where she would grow up with her best friend and sister, Phyllis.
Joyce met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Sheplee, and, in 1952 became husband and wife within 3 months of meeting. Together, they built a beautiful life founded on their faith in Jesus and lovingly raised their three children: Robert “Rob”, Pamela and Sheri. After years of moving their family around the country, Bob and Joyce made the decision in 1981 to plant their roots in Nisswa, MN and build their insurance business at Nisswa Insurance Agency.
Joyce cherished time with her family and could often be seen with a big grin on her face anytime her house was full of visitors.
She was an active member at Lakewood Church until she had to take care of her husband who had Alzheimer’s. She was involved in Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She also loved going on boat rides on Gull Lake.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Olga and Phillip Beall; husband, Bob; sister and brother-in law, Phyllis and Bob. Joyce is survived by her three children: Rob (Linda) Sheplee, Pamela (Dan) Jager and Sheri (Pete) Olson. Joyce is also survived by her nine loving grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Services will take place at 11:00am on March 22nd, 2025, with visitation at 10:00am at Lakewood Church in Baxter (6284 Fairview Road, Baxter). Lunch will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
