Joyce was born on August 9, 1942 in Greenville, Texas to James E. Oliver and Dorothy G. Oliver. She retired from E-Systems as a supervisor after 30 plus years of service.
She is survived by her sons, Benny Richards and his wife, Kristi, and Denny Richards; brothers, James Oliver and wife, Jo Nell, Bobby Oliver and wife, Nancy, and Morris Oliver and wife, Shelly; four grandchildren, Erik, Kaitlin, Cassidy, and Garrett; and six great-grandchildren, Cooper, Kasen, Caye Lynn, Gunner, Alex, and Scottie Jo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Shivers; parents, James E. and Dorothy Oliver; sister, Nelda Fitch; and brother, Sherman Oliver.
