Joyce Anne Shorey

Joyce Anne Shorey, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 at her home with her daughters by her side. Mrs. Shorey's wishes were to be cremated, after which she will be laid to rest in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Shorey was born August 17, 1954, in Murfreesboro, to the late James William Mashburn, and the late Eva Chrystine Rutledge Mashburn. She was a proud school teacher and guidance counselor for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shorey was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Shorey; and a brother, Mike Mashburn. She is survived by her daughters, Chrysti (Bobby) Dobbs, and Julie (David) Cardwell; and 2 grandchildren, Belle Cardwell, and Ben Cardwell.
