Joyce Simek Obituary

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was raised in Chicago where she met and married the love of her life, Paul, of 57 years.
Joyce started her career as a pre-school teacher and continued working with the public at a Senior enrichment center. Joyce enjoyed retirement life traveling and cruising around the world with her husband. Joyce was an avid painter and crafter and would never miss an opportunity to "bedazzle" almost anything.
Joyce is survived by her son, Paul and wife, Renee; son Robert and wife, Heidi; grandchildren, Andrew, Logan and Fiancee Leslie, Shannon and Husband, Dustin; and great grandson Diego.
She was predeceased by her husband and parents.
Joyce's wishes were for no formal service as there will be a private ceremony at a later time. The family asks that memorial donations be sent to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Pkwy, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.

We are so sorry to hear of Joyce´s passing in June. She was our three children´s pre-school teacher when the school was at Lisle High School. Joyce was also our neighbor here in the Meadows. She was greatly loved by everyone who knew her. May her memory be eternal.
