She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, siblings Bill, Bettye June, and Don.
Joyce is survived by her children, Marla (Ed) Roca, Alan (Mary) Wirtz & DeeAnn (Bob) Wendt; grandchildren, Artemis, Willa, and Lucas Roca, Auston & Eli Wirtz, Teyla, Sophia, Emily & Jacob Wendt; great-grandchildren, Roxi, Silas, Indigo, and special niece Jamie Miller, several nieces and nephews.
Joyce graduated from Boonville High School. She then graduated from Lockyear's Business College. She was so well known in college that the FBI came knocking on her door asking her to come and work for them. She turned down the job to stay in the Boonville area and began working at Hester's Motors where she met the love of her life, Richard. Joyce was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and a member of Hemingway Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her husband and children.
Graveside Service will be at 11 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Maple Grove Cemetery. Per her last wishes there will be no visitation. BRADLEY'S COLONIAL CHAPEL is assisting the family.
