JoyceAnn V. Stencil, age 84, Green Bay, WI, passed away on March 22, 2025 with her family by her side. Born on November 28, 1940 to the late Ernest and Valeria Potthier. She graduated from East High School and NWTI with a degree as an LPN. She worked for St. Vincent Hospital for over 40 years until her retirement. She married LeRoy Stencil on May 30, 1964 at St John the Baptist Church in Howard, WI and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1997.
She is survived by one son Michael (Jill) Stencil, Green Bay; two daughters, Patrice (Mark) Bablitch, Sobieski, and Betty Jo Perrault (special friend, Mike), Green Bay; grandchildren, Kimberly (Andy) Miller, Kristen (Andy) Fritz, Jacob Bablitch (special friend, Maggie), Nicole Bablitch, Russell Bablitch, Cory Perrault (special friend, Mary), Brent (fiancé, Abbi Moen), and Katie Perrault (special friend, Lumpy); and great-grandson, Baker Perrault; one brother, Richard (Susan) Potthier, Oneida; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Walton, Green Bay; further survived by god-children, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son-in-law Craig Perrault, and numerous in-laws.
We are honoring Joyce's wishes and having a private family burial. A celebration of life will take place on April 13, 2025 at the VFW in Howard from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Grancare Nursing Center and Moments Hospice for the loving care of our Mother.
