Joycie Lynn Warnix, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at her birthplace in Leola, Arkansas, at the age of 88. Born on September 29, 1936, Joycie was known for her kindness, warmth, and strong familial ties.
Joycie cherished her family above all else, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Warnix; her daughter, Jane Bridges and her husband, David; her granddaughters, Angela Hatridge and her husband, Josh, and Brittney Bridges; her grandson, Justin Schumacher and his wife, Fara; and her great-grandchildren, Jake Hatridge, Abby Hatridge, Tanner Bridges, and Payton Vick.
Joycie was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Perser; her mother, Delphy Jane Lemons Perser; her husband, Phil Warnix; as well as her siblings: sister Claira Mae Walker, and brothers Basil, J.D., and Fate Perser.
Throughout her life, Joycie engaged in various hobbies that brought her joy, including crocheting, reading, playing music, and spending time with the Bible. She will be fondly remembered for her contributions to her family and community.
Visitation will be held on July 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas, followed by a funeral service at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
As the family mourns their significant loss, they take comfort in the memories shared and the profound impact she had on their lives. Joycie Lynn Warnix will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
