Gary Wayne Warnix Sr.

Gary Wayne Warnix Sr., age 78, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Doris Warnix; son, Terry Warnix; brothers, James C. Warnix, John E. Warnix; sisters, Savannah 'Nellie' Warnix, Margaret Manis, and Doris E. Stancill.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Warnix; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Michelle Warnix, Gary Jr. and Traci Warnix, Shannon Warnix; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Janette Warnix, Lenn and Martha Warnix; grandchildren, Jake Warnix, Bryson Warnix, Jenna Hubbard (Warnix), Tyler Warnix, Trevor Warnix, Peyton McCurdy (Warnix), Kensli Warnix, Bailey Warnix; great-grandchildren, Annistyn Warnix, Skylar Warnix, Karagan Warnix, Sutton Warnix, Maverick Warnix, Dansby Hubbard; nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Homes with Rev. Jake Warnix officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 15, from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Burial will be at Dawnville Community Church Cemetery with Jake Warnix, Bryson Warnix, Tyler Warnix, Trevor Warnix, Aaron McCurdy, and Bruce Woodruff serving as pallbearers.
