Terry Wayne "Tiny" Warnix

Terry "Tiny" Wayne Warnix, age 56, of the Dawnville Community, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Edward Warnix and Edith Doris Dalton Warnix; Harold David Kilgore and Edna Vonzalene Layne Kilgore; and grandchild, baby Hubbard.
He was a member and Deacon for thirty five years at Spring Hill Church. He faithfully served his community as a Whitfield County Fireman for 36 years.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Shannon Michelle Warnix of the residence; son, James Edward "Jake" Warnix and Ashley Nicole Warnix of Dalton; daughter, Jenna Elizabeth Warnix Hubbard and Chris Hubbard of Madison, Alabama; parents, Gary Wayne Warnix, Sr. and Barbara Ann "Sue" Warnix of Dalton; brothers, Tony Allen and Michelle
Elaine Warnix of Cohutta and Gary Wayne Warnix, Jr. and Traci Michelle Warnix of Varnell; grandchildren, Emberlynn Jade Carter, Annistyn Jade Warnix and Karagan Grace Warnix; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Lawhorne officiating.
The family will receive friends at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The burial will be at Dawn Rest Cemetery.
