Worcester, MA — Juan C. Colon, Jr., 26, of Worcester, passed away tragically in a motorcycle accident, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Born and raised in Worcester, Juan was a proud member of the local community. He attended Doherty Memorial High School before continuing his education through the Job Corps program completing the mechanic shop and setting a foundation for a productive and hardworking future.
Juan was employed as an assembler at Coghlin Companies in Westborough, where he was known for his dedication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. Beyond his job, Juan had a true passion for life. He loved fishing— finding peace by the water—and had a deep appreciation for all things automotive, especially cars and motorcycles.
Juan is survived by his loving mother, Leslie M. (Gonzalez) Ingles, and his stepfather, Jesus M. Ingles, his three siblings Nathaniel Ortiz, Jeslyanie Ingles and Jenxiel Ingles, grandparents Alberto and Carmen Pena, his great great grandmother Margarita Santos, his two uncle Luis Gonzalez and wife Yesmary Jimenez-Gonzalez, Raymond and wife Jennifer Guzman, his aunt Sarahi Guzman and many other uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Juan's life on Wednesday, July 2nd at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester with visiting hours from 9:30am until 11:30am. A funeral service will begin at 11:30am followed by burial in Hope Cemetery, 19 Webster Street.In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation in Juan Carlos Colon’s name be considered to Worcester Latino Dollars For Scholars, INC, P.O Box 2884, Worcester, MA, 01613.
