Juan Jose Lara, age 50, left this life on September 8, 2025 in Kermit, TX. He was born on May 17, 1975 in Juarez, MX to Timoteo and Guadalupe (Corral) Lara.

Juan enjoyed being a mechanic. He loved to work on machines. Juan spent his free time watching Saturday morning cartoons and taking care of his dog Bruno. Family was very special to him and he loved to take his mom places. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his mother: Guadalupe Lara of Kermit, TX; brothers: Eduardo Corral and Hugo Hernandez and wife Patricia, all of Kermit, TX, Raul Hernandez and wife Connie of Lubbock, Tx, and Ruben Lara of San Angelo, TX; sisters: Dora Lara and husband Mike Stephens of Slayton, TX and Olga Villasenor and husband Roberto of Ropesville, Tx; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Juan was preceded in death by his father: Tim Lara and brother: Tim Rene Lara.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Family Services Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Family Services Funeral Chapel in Kermit. Burial will follow at Kermit Cemetery. Pallbearers are Hugo Hernandez, Brandon Coronado, Raul Hernandez, E. J. Corral, Tim Villasenor, Joshua Hernandez, Jeremy Hernandez, and R. J. Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers are Eduardo Corral, Robert Villasenor Jr., Ruben Lara, Joshua Macias and Roberto Villasenor.

Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor, and condolences may be sent to the family at www.fs-fp.com.
