Juan Carlos López, de 55 años, residente de Covington, Georgia, falleció pacíficamente el 31 de julio de 2025. Nació el 22 de julio de 1970 y vivió una vida marcada por el trabajo duro, la generosidad, el sentido del humor y un amor inquebrantable por su familia.

También era apasionado por la cocina especialmente por asar a la parrilla al aire libre donde recibía a los vecinos y transeúntes con una sonrisa y una invitación a probar sus deliciosas creaciones.
Juan también era un ávido fotógrafo, capturando recuerdos familiares con dedicación y creatividad. Ya fuera una reunión familiar, un momento tranquilo en casa o las travesuras de las mascotas, él encontraba belleza en lo cotidiano y la inmortalizaba a través de su lente. También amaba jugar deportes con sus hijos, creando momentos de risa, competencia y unión que siempre serán recordados con cariño.
Sus mayores logros fueron los que más importan: brindar a sus hijos la oportunidad de construir un futuro mejor y entregar su corazón a Jesucristo antes de su partida. Su fe y su amor se reflejaban en su manera de vivir siempre con un chiste para alegrar el ambiente, dispuesto a atender a los invitados con comida y hospitalidad, y sin temor a compartir las lágrimas en los momentos difíciles.
La velación se llevará a cabo el viernes 15 de agosto de 2:00 p.m. a 5:00 p.m. y el servicio fúnebre será el sábado 16 de agosto de 10:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m.
Juan Carlos López será profundamente extrañado, pero el calor de su risa, la fortaleza de su ética de trabajo y la profundidad de su amor permanecerán para siempre en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron.
Juan Carlos Lopez, 55, of Covington, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. Born on July 22, 1970, Juan lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Gregory Jonathan Lopez and John Zequeida, who will forever cherish the lessons, love, and laughter he shared.Juan worked as a humble yet highly skilled construction worker and building remodeler, mastering trades from plumbing and electrical work to carpentry. Known for his precision, problem solving, and deep understanding of his craft, he was often sought out for guidance and advice by fellow workers. His dedication provided not only for his family’s needs but also set an example of perseverance and integrity.
Outside of work, Juan found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved movie days with family, gathering everyone together to enjoy the latest releases. He was passionate about cooking especially grilling outdoors, where he greeted neighbors and passersby with a smile and an open invitation to share a plate of his flavorful creations.
Juan was also an avid photographer, capturing memories of his family with care and creativity. Whether it was a family gathering, a quiet moment at home, or the family pets playing in the yard, he found beauty in everyday life and preserved it through his lens. He also loved playing sports with his kids, creating moments of laughter, competition, and connection that will forever be treasured.
His greatest accomplishments were the ones that mattered most: giving his children opportunities to build better futures and dedicating his heart to Jesus Christ before his passing. His faith and love were evident in how he lived always ready with a joke to brighten the room, quick to serve guests with food and comfort, and never afraid to share in others’ sorrows with compassion and empathy.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 15, from 2:00–5:00 p.m., and a funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 16, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Juan Carlos Lopez will be deeply missed, but the warmth of his laughter, the strength of his work ethic, and the depth of his love will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
