Juan Armando Moreno, born on August 17th, 1973, in Houston, Texas was sent to his eternal home on February 1st, 2025, in Houston Methodist Medical Center, due to his stage 4 lung cancer. He was the beloved son of Armando Moreno and Josefina Garcia. Manny, as he was known by close family members, was a pillar of strength and a shining light to those who had the privilege of knowing him. His time on earth was one marked by love, strength, and his unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and those who had the pleasure of knowing him. We ask for you to remember him, not as his diagnosis, but as a fighter who fought till the very end.
Juan is survived by his spouse Priscilla, his five children Arianna, Roberto, Jacob, Ashley, and Armando, his parents Armando and Josephia Moreno, his three sisters Veronica, Jessica, and Melisa, his three grandchildren Anna, Maddie, and Jr, and his in-laws Fernando, Janey, Fernando, Jr, and Mia Sanchez.
After his graduation from Cy Creek high school, he went on to be a police officer for 10 years which was followed by the construction field for 12 years. Outside of his work he was an amazing father and husband. He loved to watch football games, go fishing, go to church, and be surrounded by his loved ones.
Those who knew Manny will remember him for his outgoing personality, loving soul, deep-rooted love for Jesus, his hard-working mentality, and his strength to keep going no matter what. He had a gift for making people feel loved and understood, leaving a lasting impact to anyone who crossed his path.
The celebration of life service will be held on February 13th, 2025 from 4-8:00pm at Cypress- Fairbanks Funeral Home. If you'd like to contribute to honor Manny you may at https://gofund.me/0f738595, thank you on behalf of his family.
Although Manny is no longer physically with us, his spirit will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest, to work as hard as you can, to achieve and never give up on your goals, and to love with all your heart. Manny, as you continue to worship Jesus up there, watch over us. We love and miss you so much. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Juan, please visit our floral store.
