Juan Carlos Quintanilla, age 57, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 30, 2024, in San Antonio. Juan was born in Uvalde, Texas on January 6, 1967, to Dolores and Ector Quintanilla.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents: Ector and Dolores Quintanilla.
Juan is survived by his loving wife: Valerie Correa Quintanilla; sons: Carlos Joseph “CJ” Quintanilla, and Christian Moses Quintanilla; daughters: Sabrina Bianca Quintanilla Almanza (Joe), Jaceylee V. Correa Quintanilla, and Alexia Scott Quintanilla; brothers: Johnny Joe Quintanilla (Connie), Manuel Quintanilla (Leeann), and Sergio Quintanilla (Patricia); sister: Mary Jane Colbenson (the late Hector); grandchildren: Jaelynn Almanza, and Amaris Almanza; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Brady, also known as “papos”.
A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Friday May 10, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Iglesia Apostólica Vino Nuevo, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
