A cherished family man, devout Christian, and respected community member, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, in Willis, Texas. Born on October 1, 1951, in Bloomington, Texas, to the late Jose Ramos SR and Juanita Flores Ramos, Juan's life was a testament to the values of love, kindness, and generosity that he embodied. Juan's journey through life was one of commitment and service. As a dedicated truck driver, he not only provided for his family but also shared his passion for the open road with his children, taking them along during summer and winter breaks. These treasured moments on the road would become cherished memories for his family, illustrating Juan's love for both his work and his loved ones. Juan was a man of deep faith, and his Christian beliefs were central to his life. As a devout catholic, he actively participated in missionary work, spreading love and compassion wherever he went. His faith was his guiding light, and it shone brightly in every aspect of his life, from the way he treated others to his involvement in his church community. He and his late wife were Eucharistic Ministers and were a part of the Cursillio Ministry. Family was the cornerstone of Juan's life. He was the beloved husband of the late Margarita "Margie" Ramos and a loving father to Juan Miguel Ramos JR., the late Juan Gabriel Ramos, and the late Michelle Ramos. Juan's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Emily Rodriguez, Alexander Rodriguez, Matthew Torres, Gabriel A. Ramos, Adrian L. Ramos, and Johnse M. Ramos, who will forever cherish the wisdom and warmth he imparted. Juan was the 5th child of 15. He is survived by Jose Ramos JR, Julian Ramos, Bertha Ramos, Beatrice Bess, Albert Ramos, Isabell Gonzales, and Hector Ramos. He is proceeded by Sylvestre Ramos, Mary Ramos, Blanca Ramos and Alfred Ramos. His extended family and friends that were ever so present in his health and sickness will miss his ever-present smile and the comfort that his presence brought to every gathering. Throughout his life, Juan's loving, kind, and generous nature touched the hearts of all who knew him. He had a way of making each person he met feel valued and loved, a gift that made him a treasured member of his community. As we bid farewell to Juan Miguel Ramos SR, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life that was full of joy, faith, and an unending capacity to give. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Juan's spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and his memory will be a beacon of love and kindness for generations to come.
