Juan Alberto Razo Jr, a cherished family man and respected member of his community, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024, at the age of 51. Born on November 15, 1972, to Maria Esmelda Lazos De Razo and the late Juan Alberto Razo Sr, Juan's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, hard work, and dedication.
Juan is survived by his loving wife of many years, Martha Alicia Razo, and his four devoted children, daughters, Aneth Alejandra Baena (married to Sabino Baena), Giselle Razo, and Cristina Razo, and son, Juan Alberto Razo III (partner is Gisela Lopez). He was a doting grandfather to Adan Manuel Saenz, Sabino Zael Baena, and Leilani Mora, who brought him immeasurable joy. Juan's legacy continues through his mother, Maria Esmelda Lazos De Razo, his sisters, Oneyda Razo and Chely Razo (married to Emilio Urrutia), and his brother, Candido Razo (married to Zoila Reyna).
Juan's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family and his passion for his work. He spent many years as a handyman, working in the oil fields, and ranching, where his strong work ethic and amiable nature earned him the respect and friendship of many. His colleagues and friends in these industries will remember him not only for his skilled hands but also for his kind heart.
A man of simple pleasures, Juan loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was often found sharing stories and laughter with his loved ones, creating memories that they will hold dear forever. His love for chocolate was well-known among his family and friends, and it was a sweet reminder of the joy he found in life's little moments.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Juan's spirit will live on through the cherished memories they have created together. His influence will continue to be felt in the lives of those he touched with his generosity and love.
Juan's family will receive condolences on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Treviño Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St., beginning at 10:00 AM. A Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word will start at 1:00 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Las Flores Cemetery in Ben Bolt, TX.
