Juana Guzman Garcia, de 101 años, residente de Mineola, Texas, falleció pacíficamente el 8 de marzo de 2025. Nacida el 12 de agosto de 1923 en Santa Rosa Alameda Juárez, México, Juana fue la amada hija de los fallecidos Eugenio Guzman y Marciana Garcia.
Devota miembro de la Iglesia Católica San Pedro Apóstol en Mineola, Juana fue conocida por su fe inquebrantable, espíritu amoroso y dedicación a su familia. Fue una fuente de fortaleza e inspiración para quienes la conocieron.
Juana fue precedida en muerte por su esposo, Modesto Alvarado Haro, y tres de sus queridos hijos: Manuela Alvarado Guzman, Manuela Alvarado Guzman y José Alfredo Alvarado Guzman.
Le sobreviven sus hijos: Graciela Alvarado, Emma González, María Dolores Limón, Evangelina Ponce, María Piedad Gamez, Martín Alvarado, Clementina Valle y Orquidia Alvarado. Su legado continúa a través de sus 34 nietos, 80 bisnietos y 7 tataranietos, quienes llevan adelante sus valores y memoria.
La vida de Juana fue un testimonio de amor, perseverancia y fe. Será profundamente extrañada por su familia, amigos y todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla.
Se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre en la Iglesia Católica San Pedro Apóstol en Mineola, y el sepelio será en Cedar Memorial Gardens.

Juana Guzman Garcia, 101, of Mineola, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born on August 12, 1923, in Santa Rosa Alameda Juarez, Mexico, Juana was the beloved daughter of the late Eugenio Guzman and Marciana Garcia.
A devout member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Mineola, Juana was known for her unwavering faith, loving spirit, and dedication to her family. She was a source of strength and inspiration to those who knew her.
Juana was preceded in death by her husband, Modesto Alvarado Haro, and three of her cherished children, Manuela Alvarado Guzman, Manuela Alvarado Guzman, and Jose Alfredo Alvarado Guzman.
She is survived by her devoted children: Graciela Alvarado, Emma Gonzalez, Maria Dolores Limon, Evangelina Ponce, Maria Piedad Gamez, Martin Alvarado, Clementina Valle, and Orquidia Alvarado. Her legacy continues through her 34 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, who carry forward her values and memory.
Juana's life was a testament to love, perseverance, and faith. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.
A funeral service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Mineola, with burial to follow at Cedar Memorial Gardens.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
