A Celebration of Life service for Juanita Lee Bradley (Nanny), 94, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 31, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1321 N 7th Street, West Monroe, Louisiana with Rev. Calvin Stapp, officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
Nita went home to Jesus on Friday, December 23, 2022 at her daughter's home in Crossett, Arkansas. She was born on July 7, 1928 to Ross Everett Lee and Mary Bess Wright Lee.
Nita enjoyed reading, sewing sock monkeys and Raggedy Ann Dolls to give to the children. She was faithful to her church, Evangel Temple, where she taught Sunday school to the young children. She loved the children and they loved her.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie N. Bradley; two sons, Eddie Neil Bradley and Donald Christopher Bradley; daughter, Ruth Ann Bradley Hymel; and son-in-law, John Spencer.
Nita is survived by her daughters, Becky Maxwell (Dennis) and Susan Spencer; grandchildren, Wes Bradley (Nicole), Amy Bradley, Jennifer Steele (Chad), Mandy Tanksley (Jeff), Brad Maxwell (Jessica), Matt Maxwell (Joel), Emily Gorman (Daniel), Jentsel Spencer (Logan), Aubrey Hogue (Landon), Jenifer Thompson, Greg Spencer; special daughters-in-love, Susan Kay King and Sherri Hendrix. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed seeing and loved; special friends, Louise Brady and Emma Jean Cooper; many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Maxwell, Brad Maxwell, Matt Maxwell, Jeff Tanksley, Jentsel Spencer, and Joel Foret.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care of Monticello, Arkansas or Ray of Sonshine in Monroe, Louisiana.
The family would like to thank Hospice Home Care of Monticello and Home Health of Ashley County for their excellent care and guidance.
