Juanita was born Nov. 11, 1928, in San Saba to Nicolas and Sixta Esquivel. She married Jose R. Lopez in San Angelo, TX on July 9, 1947 and moved to Abilene in 1951 to raise her family.
She worked for Lee & Ruth Caldwell as a housekeeper for 32 years. She was a dedicated member of Overflow Worship Center. She enjoyed caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings.
She is survived by three sons, Joe Louis Lopez, Edward and wife Tina Lopez both of Abilene, Chris Lopez and wife Stella of Dallas; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
May she rest in eternal peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, from 6-8pm at Overflow Worship Center 2958 Grape St. Abilene, TX. Juanita's celebration of life service will be held 10am Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Overflow Worship Center 2958 Grape St. Abilene, TX.
