Juanita attended school in Walsenburg, CO and graduated from John Mall High School. As a young adult she enjoyed archery, as well as making crochet blankets, and adult coloring books as her hobbies. Juanita also loved her red lipstick; you'd never see her without it. Juanita loved her family and is survived by her mother Eloysia Betty West Romero, her brother Joe Cisneros, brother Zedric Martinez, sister Angelina (Anthony) Fresquez, sister Katherine (John)Hernandez, and brother Roman(April)Romero. As well as all her nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who all loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Lily Pearl West Trujillo and father Carlos Eloy Romero.
Viewing and funeral services will be held on Thursday May 18th, 2023, at 10 a.m. at New Hope Ministries, 108 Kansas Ave., Walsenburg, CO. We'd love for everyone to join us to celebrate the life of Juanita Romero. Fellowship will occur immediately following the funeral at the Eagles Hall, 614 Main Street, Walsenburg.
