He graduated from John Mall High School in 2007.
In 2010, Marcus met Vanessa Vigil in Walsenburg, CO. Marcus and Vanessa went on create a family with
their four children: Mark, Joe, Patricia, and Maliq.
Marcus was a devoted father who relished the chance to stay at home and guide his children's daily
lives. Marcus loved UFC, Black History, watching Raiders Football and Laker's Basketball, and spending
time with his family.
Marcus was preceded in death by his Grandmothers Patricia Marie Gonzales ("Nannie") and Dessie Mae
Waller (Madea).
He leaves behind to cherish his memories; his mother Stella; his father Douglas; sisters Jessica; Jasmyn;
brothers Ryan, Robin, Rueben, Douglas Jr., and Dylan; The love of his life Vanessa (wife); daughter
Patricia; son's Mark; Joe; Maliq; nephew's Antonio; Dominic; Jerry; Samajae; Ryan Jr.; Nieces Sakarii;
Stella; Special Aunt Pamela Jones; Godparents Helen; Manuel; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends who loved him dearly.
