Juda Godbey Obituary
Juda Marie Godbey, 68, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on May 19, 1957 to the late Morris & Thelma (Wesley) Weddle in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Juda found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time gardening and working on crafts. She was a dedicated employee, having worked as a secretary for Adanta, where she was known for her reliability and kind spirit. Above all, she deeply loved her family, holding them close to her heart and cherishing every moment spent together. She was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her devotion to those she loved, and the quiet, meaningful way she lived her life.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Godbey; her son, Brian Mofield; her daughter, Jennifer Godbey; a granddaughter, Kira Godbey; and her siblings, Paul Weddle, Lindy Bost, Maxine Hendricks, and Betty Sue Mofield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Ray Weddle, Floyd D Weddle, Elnora McLain, and Wanda Wesley.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Jones officiating.
Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for services.
