JuDea Faye Myers

JuDea Faye Myers, age 77 of Ellsworth, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 at her residence. Judea was born on May 16, 1948 to Kenneth (Bud) & Francis (Pat) Sarnstrom. The third daughter in a soon to be large family of nine children. The Family farm was located in Trenton Township and from there she attended Lindgren School and Svea Lutheran Church, where she was confirmed and began her love for God. She graduated from Ellsworth High School with the class of 1966. Judea married Royce Fritz soon after and began her family, having two children: Kenneth “Brad” and Rachel.

She married her second husband Gary Gipford in 1979, they divorced in 1985. Adding a step-son Jeff Gipford. Judea married her soul mate Gary Myers in 1988, adding two more step-daughters Jody and Kris.

She worked as a secretary for the nuclear plant. Later beginning her career working as a dental assistant for Dr. Cook. Then Dr. Palmoist. Ending her work life as a CNA after caring for others.

JuDea was a musician. She could not read any music, but played by ear. She mastered the piano, organ, guitar, and her favorite the accordion. She was also a writer, she wrote poetry, and stories. And she continued writing every day in her notebooks and calendars.

JuDea was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Bud; Husband, Gary; sisters: Jeanne, Gerry, Arlene and Brother Danny; stepson: Jeff Gipford; stepdaughter, Jody Bunce, Daughter-in-law, Jesse Fritz and faithful dog Charlie. She is survived by her children: Brad (Jan) Fritz, Rachel Fritz, Kris (Dan) Mueller. Grandchildren: Colton Fritz, Braden (Sage) Fritz, McKenzie Domke, Dominic Domke, Jaylynn Begin, Bradyn Begin, and Carter Begin; Sisters: Audrey (Doug) Schulte, Betty (Joe) Linder, and brothers Kenneth (Judy) Sarnstrom, and Ron (Tracy) Sarnstrom along with many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Judea was very devoted to Jesus and donated to the charity St. Jude’s’s Children’s Hospital.

A Celebration of Life for JuDea will be from 11:00am until 3:00pm on August 30, 2025 at Svea Lutheran Church: N2610 770th St, Hager City, WI 54014.
