Judith “Judi” LeClere, age 81, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 in Jackson, MO.
On December 29, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, MO she was born to the late Vernon and Charlotte Mifflin Huls.
Judi, as she was lovingly known had been in medical field with Habcare before her retirement.
She was a lover of many things, especially St. Louis Cardinal baseball, but most of all her grandchildren.
Judi is survived by her daughter, Krista Brown of Mobile, AL; her son, Kevin LeClere of Perryville, MO; three sisters: Bonnie Allen of St. Louis, MO, Wanda Culpepper of Lake Egypt, IL; Cathy Nicolas of Herculaneum, MO: six grandchildren: Kenya, Kaylee, Nathan, Maleigha, Cammy, and Annika; ten great grandchildren and seven nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Charlotte Huls; step father, Jessie Wilkinson; her late husband, Gilbert LeClere; three brothers: Guile “Butch” Wilkinson, James “J.R.” Wilkinson, and Ronald Huls; her infant sister; and two granddaughters: Kendra & Kanisha.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, MO, with Chaplain Fred Burgard of Saint Francis Hospice, officiating
Pallbearers will be: Kenya Brown, Nathan Miller, Dubbie Allen, Corey Quintana, Keon Mackins, and Javontee Petty
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Judi’s honor to the Alzheimer's Association, 11433 Olde Cabin Rd., St. Louis, MO 63141.
Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, MO.
