Her Legacy Judith Bastianelli, 82, passed away August 18, 2024. She was born on September 1, 1941, in Highland Park, Michigan to Ross Down Sr. and Norma (Irwin) Down. Judy married the love of her life, Lodavico, "Bo" Bastianelli, on October 11, 1986, in Redford, Michigan. She will be remembered as loving wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She was a picture of strength and bravery as she endured numerous surgeries. She was quirky and funny at times and enjoyed the simple things in life like reading, cross-stich and watching the birds in her back yard. She appreciated watching cardinals, eating ice cream cones and watching, "Everybody Loves Raymond" with her soulmate, Bo and her yorkshire terrier, Ollie.
Her Family Judy will be missed by her Husband, Bo Bastianelli; her children, Michael (Mary Ann) Molnar, Terry (Marian) Molnar, Daniel Molnar, Brian (Deanna) Molnar, Beth (Ryan) Schneck; step-sons, Angelo (Rebecca) Bastianelli, Thomas Bastianelli; brother, Kenneth (Chris) Down; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Norma Down; siblings, Ross Down Jr., Evelyn Murphy; her dog, Ollie.
Her Farewell Judy's family and friends will gather Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 3:00-6:00PM (7:00 PM Rosary Service ) at Borek Jennings funeral home, Howell Memorial Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM (9:30 AM Gathering) at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 425 E. Washington Street in Howell. Father Gary Koenigsknecht will serve as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church Food Pantry. I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Judy at citizens and enjoyed seeing her come in to the town shop to have her haircut. We always shared stories about our yorkies and how much we loved them. I will miss her a lot. Many prayers for the family and friends.
