Judith "Judy" Bee of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 18, 2024, to be reunited with her husband and soulmate Edward Bee Sr., together again for all time. Judy is survived by her three children, Eddie (Jenny) Bee, Sonia (Jim) Schmidlin, and Jennifer (Tim) MacDonald, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her tremendously.
Judy was born July 14, 1942 to Myrtle and Morris Underwood. She was raised and cared for by her loving grandmother and grandfather, Irma "Ma" and Redden White in Curtice, Ohio. She was a graduate of Genoa High School. As a teenager she loved to dance and roller-skate which is how she met her future husband. As were many girls her age, Judy was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and would frequently play his records for all to enjoy, she also loved country music. Before becoming a homemaker, she worked as a telephone operator before marrying Ed and settling down in Oregon to raise their family. She was a lifelong book reader and enjoyed and crocheting, making blankets for her children and great-grandchildren. She loved being a "Bee", her house features many bee decorations, something that her daughters also share.
Judy and Ed shared a love of the outdoors and wildlife, Ed was an avid hunter and many times wild game was on the dinner menu. They enjoyed camping, boating and would take drives or boat rides at dusk to watch deer and whatever critter was around. They both also enjoyed spending time with their large family down at the family farm in West Virginia, a place where the entire Bee clan would gather to enjoy those lazy summer days. Other times it would be just the two of them, Judy reading or on the porch, Ed mowing the acres of grass. These days at the family farm have given the family many wonderful memories. Judy and Ed's love of adventure took them on many trips, from the Smokey Mountains to Texas and Hawaii, with some of their favorites being to Branson, MS, with their close circle of friends.
The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Judy's name may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for making her last days peaceful and dignified.
