Judith E. Bok

1948-2025

Judith E. Bok, age 76, of Grand Rapids, MN died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Americare Lodge.

Judy was born in 1948 to Arvid and Edna Puttonen in Hibbing, MN. She attended school in Toivola/Meadowlands, before moving to Grand Rapids. Judy worked many areas at Arrowhead Promotion until her retirement when she moved to Colorado. Judy lived in Colorado for 7 years before returning to Grand Rapids.

Judy liked to read, garden and can, do crossword puzzles, camp, and cook; her famous taco salad was loved by everyone. She was very artistic and created beautiful cross stitch displays. She had perfect penmanship and made many banners for local events.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Janice, Carol, Dennis, and Joyce; and infant twin children.

She is survived by her son, Curt (Tami) Bok; daughter, Candace (Victor Etlick) Bok; brothers, Alan (Polly) Puttonen, Geary (Mary) Puttonen, Ken (Cindy) Puttonen; grandchildren, Amber (Daniel Hruska) Bok, Andrew Bok, Adam Bok; and special friends, Louise Tunkel and Kim Bok.

A private family burial will be held at Toivola Cemetery at a later date.
