Judith Ann Bowman, age 84 of Wallace, passed away on March 17, 2025 at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. She was born on January 16, 1941 to Evan and Nina (Hughes) Harvey in Parke County.
Judy married Clarence "Bud" Bowman on September 12, 1958, sharing 65 loving years together until his passing in 2024.
She attended Waveland Schools. Judy was a gate attendant at Lake Waveland for several seasons and later Bud and Judy owned the Lake Waveland Bait shop for 5 years. She enjoyed being outdoors with her family, camping at Lake Waveland, mushroom hunting and fishing. Judy also enjoyed the Wallace Opry. A faithful Christian, Judy was a member of the Marshall Federated Church. Most of all, Judy loved her family.
Judy will be missed by her son, Brian (Amy) Bowman; daughter, Vicki (David) Wilson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Shroyer, Jenny (Kenny) Snyder, Jackie (Alan) Bruner; brothers, Robert Harvey and Greg (Pat) Harvey; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; sister, Phyllis Pearson; and brothers, Larry and Jerry Harvey.
Visitation will be held at Sanders Funeral Care Waynetown, 202 Bratton Road in Waynetown on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
