Donald Jeffrey Britton, age 63 of Hillsboro passed away on July 28, 2025 at Franciscan Health Lafayette. He was born on January 28, 1962 to Donald and Virginia (Bowman) Britton in Crawfordsville. Jeff married Lynnette Carpenter in 1981 and they later divorced. He later married LaVonda Mitchell on September 8, 2018 in Phanuel Lutheran Church in Wallace, spending 7 loving years together.

Jeff was raised in Fountain County, graduating from Fountain Central High School, Class of 1980. He worked at various local factories, including Precision Plastics and MasterGuard. He most recently earned CDL License and drove for Schneider Transport. Jeff was often found on a Thursday evening dancing at the Highway 341 Café in Wallace. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and tinkering around the house. Jeff was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge. He was a man of faith and was a member of the former Phanuel Lutheran Church.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Lavonda Britton; 3 children, Jeremy Britton of Ohio, Jessica Chambers of Danville, IL and Zebulon (Kandrea) Britton of Tangier; 10 grandchildren, Logan, Kyle, Peyton, Zolyssa, Zamarah, Keyano, Keyandre, Kayleah, Alliegh, Brynleigh; 3 sisters, Donna Carter, Donita Myers, Tammy (Jeff) Clore, mother-in-law, Antonia Mitchell and brothers-in-law, William "Bill" Miller and RanDell (Carrie) Miller. He will also be missed by two stepchildren, Andrew (Stephanie) Parker and Allison (Jacob Miller) Parker; and 5 bonus grandchildren, Rozalie, Kinley, Grayson, Serenity and Asher.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Randy Britton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Sanders Funeral Care, 202 Bratton Road in Waynetown from 10am until the time of the service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Wallace Lutheran Cemetery at 2570 E Lutheran Church Road outside of Wallace. Share memories and condolences at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
