Judith "Judy" Brown, age 76, of Hughes Springs, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Texarkana , Texas. She was born on August 31, 1949, in Pampa, Texas, and lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Dale Brown; her parents, Wilson Woodrow Mays and Leta Bernice Mays; her sister, Deborah Dianne Mays Anguiano; and two precious grandchildren, Bethany Brown and Rebecca Brown, who were forever held close in her heart.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Rhonda Renee Brown, Roxanna Marie Sonora Cofer, Pam Brown Wisner, Kristi Shawn Brown Gray, and Kevin Dale Brown; her brother, Loyd Mays; her grandchildren, Brandon McNeely, Craig Moore, Kelli Brown Rumbo, Cheyenne Brown, Dakota Brown Hackett, and Sierra Sonora; and fourteen treasured great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.

Judy was the heart of her family. A devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a caring sister, and a proud and loving Nana. She found peace in gardening and being outdoors, and comfort in the simple blessings of everyday life. Her faith was the foundation of who she was, and she was a faithful member of Hughes Springs Methodist Church, where she deeply cherished her church family.

Those who knew Judy knew a woman with a gentle spirit and a servant's heart. She loved others fully and without condition, striving each day to live and love as Jesus did. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
