Judith Burden Obituary
She was born on February 22, 1942 in Lima to Paul and Delores (Spilner) Mowery, who both preceded her in death. On June 4, 1960, she married Milford "Jr." Burden, who preceded her in death on November 29, 2018.
Judith was an avid golfer and bowler, having bowled for years in the 20th Century Lanes. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and shoveling snow.
Surviving are her daughter Michele (Bruce Black) Cardone of Lima; her granddaughter Stephanie (Shawn Ray) Cardone; her great-grandchildren Kiley Wireman and Logan Wireman; her great-great-grandchildren Alaia Jones, London Wireman and one on the way; her brother Ronald Mowery of Lima; her sister-in-law Shirley McClain of Lima. Also surviving are her step-grandchildren Ryan (Kara) Black and Kaitlin (Greg Lotz) Black; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews and a special great-great nephew Braxton Johnson of Lima.
She was preceded in death by her sons David, Jeffrey and Milford Burden; her brother Larry Mowery.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
