Judith Wilma Clovis, born January 2, 1942, was taken to Heaven on the wings of Angels on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age of 83.
Judy, as she was known, attended El Reno High School
She was an extremely hard worker and extraordinarily independent. She worked alongside her husband at a large nursery in El Reno for many years and was also a security guard at the Canadian Valley Barn in Calumet.
Judy was a devout Christian who was baptized at Ellison Avenue Methodist Church in El Reno and read her Bible daily. She was an excellent cook, especially her exceptional pies. She loved watching TV, and adored the Golden Girls along with various British comedy shows and the ID channel. Judy also loved playing games, such as Monopoly and different card games.
Living on a farm, Judy raised chickens, guineas, turkeys, and goats. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She was also an avid birdwatcher and a talented crocheter and knitter. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a sharpshooter. She was known as Nanny to all who loved her.
Judy left a positive impression on those she loved. She will be painfully missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Clovis, and her parents Raymond and Lucille "Billie" Wright.
She is survived by her daughter Jeannie Gulickson of Calumet, granddaughter McKinzi Gulickson of Calumet, grandson Ty Gulickson and wife Sidney of El Reno, and great granddaughter Saylor Gulickson, as well as her son Robert W. Coil of Wilburton, Oklahoma, in addition to her sister, Janet "Jan" Morgan of Mustang, Oklahoma.
