Judith "Judy" Ann Danford, 81, of
Lowell, AR passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Arkansas.
Judy was born on August 2, 1944, in
Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Thomas P. Fields and Lenora Ilene Johnson.
Retired from Daisy Manufacturing in 1987.
Judy married the love of her life, Tharrell Dean Danford, on August 29, 1965. They created 46 years of cherished memories and when Tharrell passed away on January 15, 2011, she patiently waited until the day they would be reunited. We feel confident he was standing at the Heavenly gates with Jesus waiting to welcome her home.
Judy loved her family boldly and fiercely, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Taking care of her babies was her priority. There was nothing that she wouldn't do to make her family happy and make sure each one knew how much she loved them.
Judy was always up for fun! She loved to bowl and was in a bowling league for a few years in her early days. She always looked forward to the many days spent shopping, flea marketing, thrifting, Branson weekends, road trips, late night cheeseburger and banana split trips and anything else that her kids and grandchildren would call her up to do. She especially cherished Christmas time to watch all her babies open the gifts she got for them. Her nurturing and love were endless and always unbiased.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tharrell Dean Danford; her parents, Thomas P. Fields and Lenora Ilene Johnson; her siblings, Joy Gobble, Julia Belle Foreman, Dolly Webster, Ella Mae Fields, Thomas Fields, Jr., Larry Fields, Steven "Mud" Fields; her son-in-law, Randall Chasteen.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Deborah Davis, Dana Chasteen, Denise Mahmens, and Deana Bass (spouse, David Bass); her brothers, James "Rex" Fields & Johnny Fields & Edward "Eddie" Fields; sisters Rita Bigmeat & Ludavene "Oopie" Hudson; her grandchildren; Jimmy Davis, Greg Davis, Erica McFarland, Cameron Ott and Elizabeth McFadden; great-grandchildren; Aubree Sanders, McKenleigh McFarland, Kenzie Bouck, Stevie McFadden, Sunnie McFadden, Ashlynn Davis, Clayton Davis, Kaitlynn Davis, Lily Davis and Isabelle "Izzy" Davis; great-great grandchildren; Skye, Phoenix and Makanna.
