Judith Flanagan Obituary
February 1, 1943 - November 2, 2025 Judith V. Flanagan passed away peacefully Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born February 1, 1943, in Washington. Judith is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister, whose profound impact on her family and community will be cherished for years to come. A graduate of Avella High School Class of 1960, Judith built a successful career working in the accounts receivable department throughout Allegheny and Washington counties. Judith's greatest joy came from her family. She took immense pride in being a loving grandmother, often attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren throughout Pennsylvania. Her kindness and warmth were evident in every interaction, and she made it a tradition to gather the family for Sunday dinners, creating cherished memories and a sense of belonging for all. Her late husband, David L. Flanagan, had been her steadfast partner for 54 years, leaving a lasting legacy of love and devotion. Judith also mourned the loss of their grandson, Ryan Patrick Flanagan, who predeceased her; as well as her sister, Carol Bell; and her parents, Warren and Georgia Salsbury Zimmerman. Judith is survived by her son, Scot (Sherri) Flanagan; and her daughter, Kim (Jason) Hollman; her grandchildren, Tim Flanagan, Brandon (Amanda) Lesko, Ethan Mohr; and stepgranddaughter, Brittany Hollman; as well as her great-grandchildren, Callie and Cole Flanagan, Braxton, Aiden and Alaina Lesko, Nolan and Maisy Hoffman. She also leaves behind her sister, Jean Stevens; and former granddaughter-in-law, Amanda Flanagan Hoffman and husband Ryan Hoffman. Judith V. Flanagan will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to her family, and unwavering spirit. Her legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. Monday, November 10, in Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, followed by entombment at Washington Cemetery.
