In Loving Memory of Judith "Judi" Fossati Fredericks
July 3, 1952 – October 3, 2025
With deep sorrow and steadfast faith, we announce the passing of Judith "Judi" Fossati Fredericks, who entered the eternal presence of her Lord on October 3, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on July 3, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Judi lived a life marked by love, grace, and devotion-to God, to her family, and to all who knew her.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Judi will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness, sense of humor, and her boundless affection for animals. She found joy in life's simple pleasures: time spent with her grandchildren, the music of Neil Diamond, and the "occasional" shopping trip.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rose Fossati, and her beloved daughter, Jennifer Fredericks. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dennis Fredericks; her sister Kathy Fossati Ault; her brother Joe Fossati; her sons Brian (Dawn) and Jason (Julie); and her cherished grandchildren Everly, Greyson, Declan, and Dylan, who will carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and resilience.
Judi's courage was most evident in her 35-year journey living with Multiple Sclerosis-a battle she faced with grace and strength. In honor of her enduring spirit, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, an organization close to Judi's heart.
A private ceremony will be held for immediate family. A celebration of Judi's life will take place on Saturday October 11th, 2025 from 11-3 at Dennis and Judi's home. Those wishing to attend the celebration are kindly requested to RSVP by calling or texting 412-559-0218 by Thursday October 10th 2025 to help the family with food arrangements.
As we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the promise of eternal life through Christ. As written in John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die."
Judi leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and joy. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior-and that we will see her again in the fullness of God's Kingdom.
May Judi rest in eternal peace.
