Judith A. Gouwens, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on
November 8, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 10, 1941, Judith A. Gouwens
(nee Connolly) Daughter of the late James and Bernice Connolly. Beloved wife of the late Robert R.
Gouwens. Devoted Mother of Patrick (Cathy) Gouwens, Maggie (Jim) DeVries, Maureen (Giuliano)
Cipolla, Michael Gouwens, Ann and the late Michael Spencer, Robert (Kim) Gouwens.
Caring sister of Sharon and the late Rudy Pechota, Mary Ellen (Paul) Hertz, Jeremiah (Cheryl)
Connolly, Lucy and the late James Connolly Jr., Mary Ann, and the late Robert Kemock.
Dear sister-in-law, to the late William Gouwens and the late Marcia Gouwens.
Cherished Grandmother to Morgan, Alex, Brendan, Jimmy, Meghan, Danielle, Rachele, Manny,
Libby, Emma, Nolan, Bryn, Bobby, Tommy, Ian, Lauren.
Loving great Grandmother to Liam, Greyson, Brooks, Anarosa, Ethan.

Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, her love for her family, friends, and the joy she had
spending time with them will never be forgotten. Judy loved to golf, exercise and swim with her
friends “the mermaids” at the Riviera Country Club. Judy’s beautiful spirit and smile will live on
through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all that she touched.
Judy was a person of deep faith as a long-time parishioner at Incarnation Catholic Church.
