Judith Ann Hulmes, age 73, of Akron passed away on October 16, 2024. She was born in Akron on February 9, 1951, to the late Orfa and Betty Wyatt. She married David Hulmes on September 11, 1978. They spent 41 years together until David's passing in 2020. She was also preceded in death by her loving dog Spankey. Judy took care of many children throughout her life and was a blessing to them and their families. She was also a dedicated PTA member. She cared deeply about the neighborhood, especially her neighbors. Judy took pride in her home and enjoyed decorating. She also enjoyed gardening, going on walks, and nature in general. Above all, she loved caring for her daughter Courtney who survives her. She is also survived by her cat Bean.
Those who will miss her will remember her honesty, deeply held convictions, and her strong love. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
