Judith as known as “Judy” Flora, age 85, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born June 29, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio and was the daughter of Marvin Balizet and Carol Elsner of Dayton, Ohio.
Judy was a very loving daughter, mother, grandma, great grandma, and friend. She is survived by her two devoted children, Danette Griffith, and David Flora of Dayton, Ohio; son in law, Jimmy Griffith, and former son in law, Rodney Zurface, followed by daughter in law, Tina Flora of Dayton, Ohio. Five granddaughters; Jessica Harrell, Megan Flora, Tara McCormick, Britney McCormick, and Chelsea McCormick of Dayton, Ohio, followed by two grandsons, Brian Perry and Christopher Zurface of Dayton, Ohio. Four great grandchildren; Alexia Anderson, Larissa Norman, Sa’marrah Miller, and Memphis Perry of Dayton, Ohio. One sister, Marvine Empey of Indiana, and a host of great grandchildren, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Twila Stamatopoulos and one granddaughter, Crystal Metz of Dayton, Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 9:30am-10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30am with burial services to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
