JUDITH MARIE KEE

KEE, Judith Marie (Gay) Of Malden, formerly of Boston's South End, March 2, 2026, age 91. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Kee. A pioneer in nurse-midwifery, Judy began her career delivering babies in rural Kentucky and spent 20 years in the Belgian Congo as a midwifery instructor. After returning to the U.S., she married Ralph Kee and served as an ordained minister at the International Community Church of Boston, mentoring newcomers. Over their 38 year marriage, Judy and Ralph shared a love of travel, birding, canoeing, and Christian fellowship. Born in Nashua, NH, daughter of the late Arthur E. and Marguerite (Winn) Gay, she was the sister of the late Arthur Gay (Joann) and the late Shawna Winn. She is survived by her brother C. Kimball Gay (Nora) and sister Carol Bailey (Gene); sister-in-law Rita Kee McDonald; stepchildren Dana Kee (Chara) and Doreen McMurry (Maurice); grandchildren Lindsay Yungbluth (Dennis), Rex McMurry (Anne Wells), Isaac McMurry (Katie Jardine), and Josiah, Noah, Timothy, and Joanne Kee; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of Judy's life during Visiting Hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE on Saturday, April 25 from 10am-12pm, followed by her Funeral Service at 12pm.
