Judith Ann Lang

Judith A. Lang, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022, at White Oak Manor. She was 82 years young. Judy was born to the late Andrew and Lillian Dudash on June 3, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, and graduated from Peabody High School. She enjoyed being head majorette and many of the Peabody extra-curricular activities as well as being an honor student.
As a child she enjoyed ice skating and bible study, meeting David A. Lang. Years later, they eventually married in August 1961 and settled in Harrisburg, Pa where they lived for many years. Judy was always on the go with a fighting personality. She was delighted to be involved with the Linglestown Women's Club, volunteering at Hershey Medical Center, and president of the PTA at her children's schools. She loved to play the piano and Dave liked to sing along. She also loved cooking and baking; she truly was a terrific cook. She even won blue ribbons for her baking and was in the local newspaper several times. Later moving to Charlotte, NC, where she and David spent over forty years. Judy remained a volunteer for over thirty plus years in the recovery room at The Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital. Judy loved to travel with her family. Judy and Dave loved spending time with their three children and their two grandsons. Judy is survived by her sister Linda and her brother David, her loving sons, Kevin (wife Sharon), Greg (wife Lisa), daughter Melody, and two grandsons, Matt and Brendan. Judy is predeceased by her devoted husband, Dave (1937-2008) of 47 years, and her sisters, Ethel, and Janet.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Weddington, NC 28104 on November 15, 2022 @11:00 am.
