Judith "Judy" Lynn Chosewood Maney, age 72, of Alto, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Born on May 7, 1953, in Demorest, she was a daughter of the late Paul Lamar Chosewood and Betty Frances Stewart Mote. Judy was employed with area convenience stores and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Wesley Eugene Mote; brother, Marlan Mote; and sister, Tina Martin.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Nelson Maney; daughters, Adonis Maney (Carol), Anitria Maney, and Adrienne Ash (Chad); grandchildren, Shelby Chastain, Sterlin Goodson, Coleman Goodson, Bailee Maney, Bryce Ash, and Jenna Ash; great granddaughter, Ellison Ash; brother, Harlan Mote (Julie); sisters, Teresa Sellers (Joe) and Paula Garrin (Curtis); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
