Neal Ricky Maney, 72, of Lenoir City, TN, passed away on September 23rd, 2025.

Rick was a Navy Veteran and worked for the Knoxville Fire Department for over 30 years. He had studied at Auburn, University of Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, and Hiawassee. He has earned several honors and awards such as The Departmental Bronze Star from the Knoxville Fire Department, the Mayor's Commendation Award for Outstanding Duty Performance, and a letter for his humanitarian deeds from Congressman John J. Rick loved his dog, respected his cat, and was passionate about teaching CPR. Not only was he a hero, but he trained others to be one as well.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Maney and brother, Randy Maney.

He is survived by his mother, PJ (Randy) Halvorsen; sisters, Bobbi (Dan) Borchardt and Beverly Kim (John) Whitfield.

The family wishes to extend gratitude to Janis Maynard and several fellow firefighters for being such wonderful friends to Rick.

Services will be held at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel on Thursday, October 9th, 2025. A receiving of friends will start at 2PM with a memorial service following at 3PM. Randy Halvorsen will officiate the service.
