Judith McCollum
Troy Community- Judith Carol McCollum, age 76, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born on January 22, 1949, to Barbara Ellen Jones Vanhoozer and Ernest Vanhoozer.
Judith led a life full of faith, loving the Lord her God, Jesus Christ, fully and unconditionally. Her children were the cornerstone of her life; she loved all of them graciously. She was a wonderfully sweet woman, never having a day where she was in a bad mood. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Robert Vander Carter and his wife, Becky, Scott Ellis Carter, David Edwin Carter and his wife, Tammy, Timothy Wayne Carter, Tamara Carter Leech and her husband, Bill, and Ronnie McCandless; numerous grandchildren; and brother, Eston Vanhoozer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck McCollum; parents, Barbara Ellen and Ernest Vanhoozer; grandchild, John Dalton Carter; siblings, Shannon Frances and John Ellis Vanhoozer.
