Terry Lynn Coggin
Saltillo – Terry L. Coggin, age 70, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Born on June 9, 1955, she was the daughter of the late J.W. and Darlene Brock. Terry was a devoted member of Mayfield Church of Christ and lived her life grounded in faith.
Terry found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially traveling and spending time by the ocean. Gulf Shores, AL held a special place in her heart—a peaceful place where the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun brought her comfort and happiness.
She is survived by her two children, Jennifer Buchanan and husband, Doug, and Scott Coggin and wife, Jessica; nine grandchildren, Alexzandra Morgan and husband, Elijah, Makayla King and husband, Thomas, David Coggin, Savannah Coggin, Marlin Marble, Hipolito Rojas, Ariana Lucero, Izabella Lucero, Stephanie Lucero; four great-grandchildren, Pavlov King, Lorelei King, Violet Morgan, and Walker Stultz; two brothers, Rusty Brock of Plantersville, and Steve Brock and wife, Patti, of Booneville; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Ethan Coggin.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Monday, September 8, 2025, at Mayfield Church of Christ.
Services honoring the life of Terry will be 3 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025, at Mayfield Church of Christ with Minister Adam Miller and Minister Lonnie Neaves officiating. Graveside services will follow at Mayfield Cemetery. Pegues Funeral Directors are entrusted with the care of her arrangements.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of Mayfield Church of Christ.
